Film Festival 2007

Lyndale celebrates the recent success of our inaugural film festival. This festival gave an opportunity for all the videos created by our students, everything from interviews to digital animation, to be viewed by the wider school community. DVDs of films presented at the night will be available.

 

Launch of our TV studio

A TV Studio and Closed Circuit TV setup has been established in our school. Our media team and production showcase, Lyndale Live, links events happening throughout the school and provides a purposeful medium for developing research skills and transferring knowledge. It assists students to gain confidence with oral presentations and provides feedback. Lyndale Live provides a medium for inclusive education and a way of showcasing our school’s activities & events. It involves the whole school in various ways and is based on using pre-recorded and live video to produce a current affairs style of presentation.

 

You Can Do It

We have adopted the "You Can Do It" program, which forms the basis of our values program. The foundations of Getting Along, Confidence, Organisation and Persistence are emphasised and practised across the school. This program has a high profile and is referred to in our positive dealings and interaction with each other.
